So Long, Top of the Pops

From theTripwire:

R.I.P. Top of the Pops. You will be missed.

"Top of the Pops has been axed after 42 years providing the latest pop performances and chart rundowns. The final episode of the BBC music show, which made stars of Noel Edmonds and Jimmy Savile, is expected to air later this summer."

That is kinda sad. On par with the passing of American Bandstand, another wealth of music exposure for a few generations.

But the wheel keeps turnin'.

Full Circle, One Year On

I'm kinda proud. Most ground-level bloggers pack it in within a year, but on this first anniversary, I'm happy with my birthday present. Just a place to get a thought or two out there.

I'll leave it at that.

Relax on Father's Day? Nah!

I never seem to be the Dad on the hammock, beer in hand relaxing on his "special day," nor the Dad glued to the big screen TV, game on and all, either.

But true to form, I only manage to get a few goals accomplished. I sleep a little late, spend a little extra time at the Mac and cook up a storm on the grill.

Hope your Father's Day is as enjoyable as mine.
